Drug Trafficking
Monitoring of bots, channels, and accounts engaged in the sale or distribution of controlled substances, including operations that disguise themselves behind legitimate-appearing fronts.
PlatformWatch is an independent volunteer initiative dedicated to identifying, documenting, and reporting illegal content on major online platforms — in accordance with the EU Digital Services Act.
Our work focuses on serious violations that affect public safety, particularly the safety of minors.
Monitoring of bots, channels, and accounts engaged in the sale or distribution of controlled substances, including operations that disguise themselves behind legitimate-appearing fronts.
Identification and reporting of content that endangers minors, including child sexual abuse material (CSAM), grooming activity, and exploitative material.
Documentation of investment scams, phishing operations, impersonation schemes, and other deceptive practices targeting users on messaging platforms.
Reporting of large-scale infringement of intellectual property, including unauthorized distribution of copyrighted media, software, and creative works.
Identification of content that promotes terrorism, incites violence, or coordinates illegal weapons trade — in cooperation with relevant authorities.
Investigation of interconnected operations across multiple bots, channels, and accounts that exploit platform features to evade detection at scale.
Volunteer researchers identify suspicious content through public observation and community-submitted reports.
Each case is documented with timestamps, screenshots, identifiers, and operational analysis.
Formal notices are issued under DSA Article 16, sent through dedicated trust & safety channels.
We monitor platform response, escalate where needed, and maintain audit records of all activity.
PlatformWatch operates independently from any platform, government agency, or commercial interest. Our work is funded only by volunteer time.
Every notice is reviewed for factual accuracy and legal basis before submission. We do not submit speculative reports.
We respect platform processes and applicable law. Notices follow established procedures and include clear paths for response.
Our methodology, criteria, and operational principles are publicly documented and open to scrutiny.
If you've encountered illegal content on a major platform, our team can review it and coordinate proper reporting through official channels.
